Setting Up XTM for Automatic Translation
Create a Special Workflow Step
In XTM, create a dedicated workflow step specifically for automatic translation.
You can name this step “CMT Automatic Translation” or choose another appropriate name.
For detailed guidance, refer to the article:
How to Add a DTP Step to the Workflow in XTM Cloud (follow steps 1–7).
Set Up Webhooks (Callbacks)
You will need to configure workflowTransitionCallback to enable integration with the automatic translation service.
Please contact the XTM International Support team using the email template below:
Email Template for XTM Support:
Subject: Request to Set Up workflowTransitionCallback
Dear Support Team,
Please configure the following callback URL for workflowTransitionCallback on our account:
Option 1: If “workflow” is automatically appended to the callback URL, use:
https://yourcompany.console.custom.mt/integrations/
Option 2: If “workflow” is not automatically appended, use:
https://yourcompany.console.custom.mt/integrations/workflow
The callback should use Basic Authentication (login and password).
Could you please advise whether you require us to provide the login and password, or if you can enable access to the callback settings in the interface so that we can enter the credentials ourselves?
From a security perspective, we prefer the second option (self-entry of credentials).
Our XTM instance URL is:
https://put here your XTM instance URL/
Provide Authentication Credentials
After the callback is configured:
If XTM Support requires the credentials, provide them with the login and password from the Custom.MT Console.
If XTM Support enables access to the settings in the XTM interface, you can enter the login and password directly yourself.
