FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY

In order to add new languages to the console, you need to follow the following steps:

  1. Go to the Admin panel and choose the Languages section

  1. You can add the main languages in this section (two-letter names) and create the names for local variations.

To create a main language code, simply click Add language and put the language name and the abbreviation (two-letter name allowed).

  1. To create a local variation, first, you will need to create the main language without code and click Save.

  1. It will have an empty value in the Language section.

  1. Then, go to the Language region code section and click the button Add language region code.

  1. Fill in the code (four-letter name) and choose the name of the local variation of the language created in Step 3 from the drop-down list.

  1. Click Save. After that, the local variation of the language will be added to the list and can be selected when creating Templates - see this article.

Make sure to follow the same name convention for both the Source Language and the Target Language fields, i.e. if you select two-letter naming for the Source Language, two-letter naming should be selected for the Target Language field (EN-ES). If four-letter naming is used in the Source Language, use four-letter naming in the Target Language field as well (EN-US - ES-ES).
