Prompt Studio

Prompt Studio is a new functionality added, where you can create your prompts and test them. After testing the prompts, you can save your favorite ones to the list and use them later adding in templates.

In order to start experimenting, open the Prompt Studio section of the portal. You will see two sections: Prompts list and Create prompts tabs.

Prompts list

While on the Prompts list, you can select one of the preset prompts created for you.

You have the option to Edit or Delete the prompts created. On the right under the Action select Edit or Delete from the list appearing when you click on the sign with three dots .

Create prompt

In order to create new prompts, you can use a structure similar to the one used in the preset prompts.

The text of the segment in the prompt is indicated with a variable {text}.

First, you need to enter your prompt in the Prompt field and name it in the Name field.

Then you need to select the model to be used for testing the prompts, so choose the preferred model from the drop-down list.

After selecting the model, choose whether the prompt will be applied before or after the translation, so select either Pre-editing or Post-editing.

Temperature is the parameter used to define how predictable/repeatable the results you will be getting from GPT will be. For regular translation or rewriting tasks, the recommended value is 0.2. For Generative AI requests where you would like to get more creative responses that will not be repeated when sending the same prompt, you can increase the value to 0.8.

Press the Test Prompt button to test your prompt.

Click Save to save the prompt. It will appear in the Prompts list after saving.

You have a more advanced option to add more variables in your prompt.

Go to the Variable tab and add information on the variable name, and default value for it, then click Add variable.

Choose the model to be used for the prompt and press the Test Prompt button.

Press Save to save this prompt in your Prompt List.
